Taking inspiration from its African namesake, Tzitzikama Lodge offers modern and spacious accommodation reminiscent of the colonial style. It is situated in the centre of Rock, a tranquil and much loved village on the East side of the Camel Estuary facing the fishing port of Padstow.
Self-Catering Apartments
The self-catering suites are designed for couples or a young family. The front door under the veranda leads, via the fully equipped kitchen, to a spacious lounge-bedroom with en-suite bathroom and occasional furniture. French windows open onto a private patio and large lawn.

The village shops are a few minutes walk away. Try the locally produced sausages, Cornish pasties, pastries, cheese, clotted cream and freshly caught fish.

Self-Catering Family Bedroom Apartments

These apartments are suitable for couples or families with two older children. Downstairs there is a kitchen, bathroom and lounge-dining room which opens onto a private patio and shared large lawn. A spiral staircase leads to an open plan family bedroom with a king-size and, separated by a partition, two single beds.

In The Area
There is a wide choice of local pubs and restaurants, many specialising in Sea Food including Rick Stein's at Padstow. Go over on the ferry from the waterfront and return by water-taxi later in the evening. Rock is a good base for exploring the spectacular Atlantic coastline and the surrounding towns and villages. The Cornwall Coastal Path passes within a mile and there are many well signed paths directly accessible from our back gate. Snug Family beaches are close by in the estuary at Porthilly. For the energetic there is;

  • Surfing at PoIzeath, wind-surfing at Daymer Bay
  • Sailing and water-skiing tuition at Rock
  • Fishing trips and Boat launching facilities at Rock
  • Cycling on the Camel Trail

For Golfers there are many courses to suit all abilities within 30 minutes drive.
